Grayscale Files for Spot ADA ETF, Triggering Bullish Momentum in Crypto Market
The Wall Street asset management firm Grayscale has filed for a spot ADA exchange-traded product, sparking a surge in multiple coins including BTC, ADA, SOL, LTC, and XRP. The NYSE Arca submitted the filing to the U.S. SEC on Monday, proposing to list and trade spot Cardano ETF shares. The filing also proposed a rule change to increase market competition and provide more investment options. If approved, it will be Grayscale's first standalone Cardano product. The ETF announcements have currently boosted ADA’s price.
Litecoin ETF Leads in Approval Odds Among Altcoin ETFs
Bloomberg ETF analysts James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas have released their latest approval odds for spot altcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in 2025, with Litecoin emerging as the leading contender. Seyffart believes that the Litecoin ETF has the highest probability of approval by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) since it is not classified as a security. The Litecoin ETF filings submitted by Canary Capital and Grayscale hold a 90% chance of approval, according to the analysts' projection.
